Uber & Lyft Inspections

If you’re thinking about using your own car to drive for Uber or Lyft, your vehicle will have to pass a vehicle inspection before you can start driving. Will your car be ‘good enough’ to pass?

Uber and Lyft requires that you complete a vehicle inspection once every year at a pre-approved auto repair shop, or at an Uber ‘activation centers’ that are located in gas stations, parking lots, and at some local mechanic shops. Mike’s Great Bear in Hollywood, Florida offers reliable, accurate and professional inspection services at your convenience.

While Lyft does not require an in-depth checkup by a licensed mechanic like its main competitor, passing one will nevertheless increase your chances of being approved. Future inspections are also mandatory and must be taken on a yearly basis.
